Alan has notched up 32 years as a Professional Auctioneer with over 35 years of Agency practice with sales in excess of $4 billion dollars. His thorough grounding in the property market along with an impressive track record has cemented an illustrious career and established Alan’s high profile in the Real Estate Industry.

Over the past 13 years, Alan has specialised with L J Hooker in the NSW real estate market in both commercial and residential property. He has offered properties ranging from the SONNENHOFF SKI CHALET RESORT to the PUB WITH NO BEER from Shopping Centre Complexes to Sydney CBD buildings and has auctioned at all levels of property across suburban Sydney and throughout country NSW.

Alan was appointed by L J Hooker Ltd as a Company Auctioneer in 1989 after a successful career in Stock and Station Agency where he was Secretary/Director of Joseph Leeds and Co Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s oldest firms. In 1993 he became the Auction Manager for L J Hooker (NSW) for the southern region and in 1994 transferred to the newly created Auction Services division as Senior Auctioneer and now holds a AAA rating for the L J Hooker Corporate group.

Alan has since been invited as guest auctioneer for various Government Agencies including the ACT Government on many occasions. In one clearance he sold over $22 million for a top price $11.6 million in the CONDER/BANKS Estate. Under the hammer he has set many price records including “WILLEROON” PALM BEACH at $6.3 million. Another much publicised recent sale was the auction of “MURRELLS” Tea Gardens on behalf of a the A.M.P at $6.75 million arguably the most significant pastoral holding sold in the last decade.

Alan is an Associate Representative of the REI of NSW and is an advocate for the highest level of integrity and professionalism in the industry he serves.
